Land Rover Defender 2.2 Puma Hybrid Turbo Upgrade. A high performance big turbo upgrade which is based on a new Garrett turbo charger unit.
The standard Land Rover Defender 2.2 Puma compressor wheel is 49mm. In the Paramount upgraded a larger billet compressor wheel of 52mm is fitted. Giving greater airflow and boost pressure. In addition the second upgrade to the turbo is 4mm larger inducer to increase volume/boost still further and give the potential for more power.

Land Rover 200 Tdi Turbo T28 upgrade. A performance bigger turbo upgrade based on a brand new Garrett turbo
The standard smaller 200Tdi turbo is machined to take the larger standard 300tdi turbo internals. The upgrade allows much greater airflow and boost. The 200tdi performance is limited by the fuel system though so fitting an turbo larger than that fitted to the 300tdi engine is not effective.
Therefore as well as a larger turbine, this 200tdi turbo is also fitted with a heavy duty actuator. This allows the upgraded turbo to run up to 1.3bar of boost. A significant improvement of over stock performance

Land Rover 300 Tdi Turbo T28 upgrade, Performance bigger upgraded turbo. The standard Land Rover 300Tdi turbo is a T2 Shaft and a T25 turbo compressor wheel. This 300Tis upgraded turbo is a T28. The “hotside” turbine is remains standard size so not to induce lag. However on the compressor side, the housing and compressor wheel is upgraded to a T28 fitting.
The 300tdi T28 turbo will give much greater airflow and boost. This will increase performance and power as it is. However, if the vehicles fuel pressure is increased by adjusting the governor. The performance improvement possible can be further significantly improved.
