Each remap we install is tailored specifically for your vehicle and has been dyno tested and developed to maximise gains and minimise the risk of component failure.
This stage 1 software for your vehicle is designed for use with standard components and is within the tolerances of your vehicle. This is classed as a fast road application which is the best all round performance for stock vehicles.

We don’t deny the S58 powered BMW M cars are seriously potent vehicles from factory. The G80 M3 combines well in excess of 500 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque to propel itself from 0-62mph in just shy of 4 seconds. That said, we know the S58 has more to give! The ECU in these vehicles is currently locked, so it is not possible to perform a custom remap at this time. This would normally involve writing a modified file for the vehicle with updated parameters, which is then loaded back into it’s ECU. With this limitation in mind, the research and development team at Paramount Performance have been working in partnership with the software tuning wizards at VIEZU to find a safe, reliable and effective tuning method for the S58 equipped M2, M3 and M4. What is Remapping?
The process of car remapping, also known as ECU tuning, is the process of tweaking & modifying the settings on a car in accordance with the owner’s preferences. With a computer to hand the owner is able to customise how exactly the engine operates, dictating exactly what they get from the car. This, of course, has to be within legal limitations.

How Does Remapping Work?
It can be possible for a car to be remapped fairly easily. The main thing you’ll need to do is make changes to the default settings and software provided by the manufacturer. The process consists of overwriting the old software on the Engine Control Unit (ECU) (Engine Control Unit) and replacing it with the new custom software. The updated software is then plugged into the car’s serial port. Fortunately, these days, this process has become quite a bit easier!
What Exactly Does Remapping Do?
Now that we have a better understanding of what remapping is, & how it’s performed. Let’s dive a little deeper and learn more about how ECU remapping can actually benefit & enhance your motor:
Increase in power – remapping the ECU programs can include modifying the motor’s power characteristics. The most common change is increasing the amount of power. As a result, your car will be able to accelerate much more quickly, allowing you to reach your top speed much faster. As a result of the increased power, you will likely experience an increase in fuel consumption.
Increase of responsiveness – Although speed and power are common motives for remapping an engine’s ECU. Interestingly, there are many drivers who take advantage of the ability to alter the settings in order to improve fuel efficiency. To do this, drivers can reduce the amount of gear changes that they need to make to overtake other vehicles or perform other driving situations that require high torque and horsepower levels.
