Land Rover remapping works by replacing the standard software in your vehicle’s engine control unit, the ECU, with a custom file that changes how the engine runs, improving power, torque and throttle response. The factory software is overwritten and a bespoke ECU remap from Paramount Performance is written in its place.

With the V-Switch home tuning tool the whole process happens at home, with no need to attend a dealer. You plug the driver-operated V-Switch into your diesel Land Rover and it writes the custom tuning programme straight to the vehicle. There is no wiring and no intrusion, just a software upload, and the tune is fully reversible.

The V-Switch holds three different files in its memory, so you can switch between 3 settings or reset back to standard whenever you want. That gives you control over how the car drives day to day, whether you want stronger performance or settings better suited to towing and economy.
