Alientech Kess3 hardware is either a Master or Slave tool, depending on the protocols you add to it. In addition to the protocols built into the Alientech Kess 3 remap tool, these protocols also determine the method of communication between the device and the vehicle. In addition to being able to tune via OBD, the Kess 3 can also perform both bench and boot tuning. These two tuning options are enabled by the protocols added. The Kess 3 hardware can be activated at the time of purchase. In addition, you can add further protocols at a later date.

Adding activation protocols to your Slave Kess3

There is no requirement, however, to use the Paramount Performance remap file service. Kess3 tuning device is available from the Paramount shop (or by phone, or by email) If you have an existing master tuner you wish to use, just let us know when making your purchase. And, we will arrange for your new Kess slave tool to be on their account ready to tune.
