Set Up Your BMW 4 Series with BC Racing BR Coilovers
This BC Racing BR coilover kit allows the suspension of the BMW 4 Series to be adjusted around the vehicle’s use, driving conditions and preferred stance. Suitable for 4 Series F32/F36 2014-2019 AWD 3-Bolt | AWD|4 Series F32/F36 2014-2019 AWD 5-Bolt | AWD, it provides a more complete and adaptable upgrade than fixed-height 4 Series springs.
BC Racing designs adjustable suspension for road cars, modified vehicles, show builds and track applications. Each kit is developed around the vehicle platform, with appropriate damper characteristics, spring specifications, mounting arrangements and adjustment capabilities.
Ride Height and Damping
Depending on the selected series and application, ride height and damping can be adjusted to alter the way the suspension responds to bumps, weight transfer and driver inputs. Adjustments should be made gradually, with matching settings used across each axle unless the vehicle is being set up by an experienced suspension specialist.
BC Racing generally allows spring rate changes within a limited range without modifying the damper valving. Larger changes can affect suspension balance and may require the dampers to be revalved. Contact Paramount Performance with the kit serial number before purchasing replacement springs or making a major specification change.
Top Mounts and Additional Components
Some applications include camber-adjustable, pillowball or rubber-isolated top mounts. Other vehicles require the original top mounts to be reused. End-links are supplied only where the revised anti-roll bar mounting arrangement requires them.
Once installed, the vehicle should receive a full alignment. This is particularly important following a major ride height adjustment, as suspension geometry affects steering behaviour and tyre wear.
