This full complete Jaguar F-Type V8 exhaust system replaces the restrictive OEM catalytic converters. Now with more free flowing 200CPSI sports cats allowing for better airflow. A mandrel bent “X-pipe” takes care of the gas pressure balancing and exhaust scavenging required for best performance. And a valved rear exhaust silencer muffler designed with better gas flow and greatly reduced weight. Combined these all benefit the overall performance of your Jaguar F-Type V8.

When it comes to catalytic convertors, like many things in life. You get what you pay for. Many aftermarket suppliers fit small 200 cell cats because they are cheap. Often made to poor or unknown standards with no testing or documentation. Why is this important. Because poor cats melt and fail. We have seen numerous cases now where small low volume catalytic converters have melded, blocking the exhaust, resulting in engine failure.

This is a well know and documented issue on high performance Jaguar cars, especially those that have been tuned. The Paramount Performance Jaguar catalytic converters are unique in the market. The Paramount 200 cell cats use a matrix that is EU certified and carry an “E” testing and certificate number. No other Jaguar aftermarket cat matrix we know if has been tested to be used in UK and Europe. If you are looking at other products, its worth asking if they carry and “E” certificate number – a legal requirement in the UK. They will also, as you would expect, pass a UK MOT emission test. And have been tested and proven to run over 670bhp

Sports Catalytic Converters, de-cat and sports cats  – Paramount Performance list a large range of catalytic converters. Some are TUV / EC approved. However, others such as the IPE and Armytrix systems are manufactured outside of Europe and so may not be EC approved. For this reason, all sports catalytic converters and “De-cat pipes” for sale on the Paramount site are sold for motorsport and off-road use in the UK and EU, and not for road use.
